Troubleshooting
The panel does not appear in Illustrator
Open Window → Extensions → NestPlug. If it is missing, run Install NestPlug.command from your downloaded package again (it sets the one Adobe preference third-party panels need), then fully quit and relaunch Illustrator.
“Enter your license key to start nesting”
Your license is not active on this machine. Open the License section of the panel, paste the key from your purchase email, and click Activate.
“You have been offline too long”
Connect to the internet once. The plugin re-checks in the background and everything resumes automatically. Your key is not re-required and nothing is lost.
Calculate returns few or no placements
Your sheet is smaller than the artwork set, or margins/spacing are larger than the gaps between shapes. Reduce spacing or increase the sheet, then re-calculate.
