Install NestPlug on macOS (≈2 minutes)

Download NestPlug 1.0.0 for macOS (678 KB)

Download and unzip the package (button above; the same link is in your license email).
Run the installer. Double-click Install NestPlug.command in the unzipped folder. The first time only, right-click it and choose Open, since the package is not registered with Apple. It installs the plugin and the panel, and verifies both.
One-time folder setup: if the installer tells you it created a new plugin folder, open Preferences → Plug-ins & Scratch Disk in Illustrator, enable Load Additional Plugins, and choose that folder. If you already use an additional plug-ins folder, the installer used it and you can skip this.
Relaunch Illustrator and open Window → Extensions → NestPlug.
Activate: open the License section in the panel, paste your key, click Activate. Done. Select artwork and nest.

macOS 12 (Monterey) or later, Apple silicon and Intel
Adobe Illustrator 2026 (v30.x)
Internet at activation, then at least once every 14 days

Windows & Linux

Native builds are in active development. Your existing license will activate them on release day at no extra cost. Join the update list via support@nestingplugin.com and we will email you when they ship.
